About the Parker Guitar Academy (PGA)
 
The Parker Guitar Academy has traditionally been offered to ADULTS ONLY providing group classes on Wednesday evenings  in the Legend High School Guitar Room taught by Legend High School guitar instructor, Eli Moore. This year's Academy will be "one on one" lessons that take each student through the full 20 week program. Scheduling each week will be flexible! If you and others would like to make the program a "small group" setting, that is fine as well. 
 
 
The overall goal of these classes are to teach aspiring, adult guitar players the proper and necessary theory and techniques associated with rhythm and lead guitar, while also serving to make the lessons cost effective and non-traditional. Private lessons can range from $30-$40  for a 30 minute lesson. Our program provides 30-45 minute each lesson for less cost. See the "Cost" page for more details. 
 
Lessons Include:
Music Theory, Chord Building, Reading Chord Charts, Open Chords, Rhythms, Strum Patterns, Flat Picking, Arpeggios, Finger Style, Fifth Chords, 12 Bar Blues, Shuffles, Bar Chords, Transposing, and Introductory Lead Technique/Scales, and more.
